December 8th

So its been like the worst day ever and i am so happy that its finally over. last day of blogging i believe. gaaaaaah , christmas break just needs to be here , like right now.

December 7th

I have so much homework, and like 3 huge projects. I'm excited for christmas break but soo not excited for finals, i'm gonna be so streesed until finals are over. 18 days till christmas . <3

December 6th

19 days till Christmas. Gah and theres snow on the ground. I hate snow, it ruins everything. Its cold and well it is pretty but still, it still stinks. I hope it melts.

20DAYSTILLCHRISTMAS. I really love Christmas. Like alot, its my favorite holiday by far.

I didn't blog because i was dumb and forgot but i also had volleyball and then hours of homework . fun stuff right? Not. Can't wait till Christmas break.

Lots of tests today, but otherwise not doing much. Going to a basketball game today in Blair with Zach &his mom .  Looking forward to that!

Volleyball Tryouts were on saturday , they went good .(: Made the top team with my bestestest friend ammy & emma.  Then went to cocokeys, sweet life bro.

Finally, its friday . <333 only like an hour left of school , then physical therapy, then friends house. I love the weekend. Volleyball tryouts tomoorrow, im nervous !

sooo , i have a volleyball clinic tonight and i'm very very very very very very very very very very very very very excited to finally play again. I reaally miss volleyball and finally getting to play again seriously just brightens my day so much .

gah , i hate being sick so much . so i couldn't blog yesterday because i came home early from school and i've literally been sleeping ever sincce i got home. It really stinks being sick & missing school because then you have to make up all the homework & that takes foreeever , grr.

Mondays

I reallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyREALLY hate mondays. I would seriously rather be doing anything else then be at school. I'm always so tired on mondays and in the worst mood ever. Really excited for today to be over.

HighTea

So I served at the High Tea on Sunday and it was quite interesting. It was really kind of boring to actually serve the people, but it was interesting to see how everything worked out. It was a good way to get 5 hours for service hours though.

SAATURDAY

So on Saturday, I was with my bestestest friend in the entire world that I NEVER get to see. Were on the same club volleyball team and one of the reasons im excited to play volleyball again is to see her. It's funny how close you can become with someone that you have known for a shorter times then some of the people you've been friends with for forever.

CountryMusic.

So people always bag on country music, but it is probably one of the most amazing things on this planet. Like yeah , rap & pop is good. But there is seriously nothing better then just sitting down and listening to country music.

Dreams

I swear dreams are the weirdest things ever. I dont get how they even work, how you could possibly dream in your sleep. Dreams always have weird things happen in them and I always wonder where they come from. It's actually kind of interesting and really funny to see what dreams you have or what other people dream about.. not being creepy or anything .

FootballGame

So I tried my best to blog yesterday but I couldn't because I was a football game 2 hours away. It was absolutely freezing cold outside and I literally had to dress in a billion layers of clothing and I was still freezing. I wish my school would have won because that would have been awesome ! <3

Volleyball

I am so excited for Volleyball Tryouts. They are in less then 3 weeks though and I am soooooooo nervous because I haven't played volleyball in months because I got hurt. Hopefully I'm completely healed by then so I actually do good.

HappyHalloween. <3<3<3 I believe you are seriously never to old to go trick or treating, so thats exactly what I'm doing ! I will go trickortreating the rest of my life just to get some candy!

Friday , October 28

So I didn't blog on Friday so I'm making up for it today. On Friday I went over to my friend's house and we watched Scream 4. The Scream movies are really some of the best scary movies, because they are scary, but not to scary.  I love pigging out with my girls.

Homework

Sometimes homework stinks so much. I know I am I always wait for until the last second to do my homework which is something I shouln't do because I have been doing homework for the past 8 hours. Such a waste of a Sunday.

GoNebraska.

Oh ,got to love saturday football games. Theres nothing like getting the whole family together to sit down and watch the Huskers  play football !! Todays game was exciting and very entertaining, I usually hate football , but I absolutely love watching Nebraska play . Ahh , I probably got it from my daddy , but I sure do miss going to all the games when i was a little girl.

Book Review: What Happened to Goodbye

Critique:

I read the book What Happened to Goodbye. I thought this book was very well written and very interesting. While I was reading it I didn't want to put the book down because I always wanted to know what was going to happen next. The author, Sarah Dessen, did a very good job with writing this book. She really knows how to write to the teenage audience.

What Happened to Goodbye is a book about a girl named Mclean and her father moving to many different towns in a very short period of time. In each town they move to, Mclean not only changes her name, but completely changes her personality. When she moves to Lakeview, she wants to become a girl named "Liz" but that doesn't really work out. For the first time since she moved away from her first home she was actually making friends, and being herself. Her dad owns a restauraunt in Lakeview, but he was planning on moving to Hawaii in the near future. Mclean did not want to go with him because this was the first time she had ever really met someone she really cared about, a guy named Dave. In the end of the book her father ends up moving to Hawaii, and Mclean gets to stay in Lakeview and live with her dad's girlfriend named Riley.

I think Sarah Dessen did a beautiful job writing this book. She made sure that for anyone who read this book that it would not be boring or confusing. I never got bored reading this book , because there was something always going on. I've read most of Sarah's books and I think What Happened to Goodbye is her best written book so far. I think her intent of this book was to show teenagers that being themself is a good thing. Becoming someone you aren't will never be good in the long run. Also, I think that Sarah did a good job with describing the divorce between Mclean's mother and father. I think that in writing about it, that she showed teenagers that they don't have to hate either their mother or the father because they got divorced. Also that if the teenager is bottling up any hatred towards their parents, it's always better to talk to them about it then just ignoring them.

I think What Happened to Goodbye was definently a success. I think that not only the book was very good and very addicting to read, but it was also a very good book that you could learn from. The overall theme of the book was that you never have to be someone or something that you aren't because you were made the way you are for a reason. I learned that being myself is a good thing, and to always be good to not only my friends, but my parents because your parents will always be there. Im definently happy that I read this book and I would recommend anybody, both boys and girls, to read it. If they read it, it could be a life lesson and just a very good book . I think overall this book was very beautiful and a very good read.
